Gardening & Homesteading is the educational and info site of Kevin Wilson, gardener and food grower for 50+ years in the UK and Canada, coordinator of the Urban Homesteading School of Powell River, and owner of Fiddlers Farm.
My objective with this site is to provide homestead how-to information, gardening advice and tips, solutions to garden problems, and answers to questions. I have a book on the go, which I’ll add here when it’s ready (and others planned).
I strongly believe that all of us can become more self-reliant, and create our own productive homestead, no matter where we live. I’ve grown food on and in windowsills, balconies and patios; back, front and side yards; and even a carport roof when that was the sunniest spot available!
